Wunderman Thompson: MasterClass Stream Hosted by XD
Overview
I joined Wunderman Thompson in the middle of a remote-only world. I noticed an opportunity to help new and existing team members get together to meet each other. This initiative not only gave the team a break from the day to day but it allowed us to learn from new perspectives, together.
The idea
The initiative was to stream Master Class courses and have the meetings be hosted by the XD team.
The XD team at the time was new at Wunderman Thompson and therefore needed more visibility as leaders in cultural and digital initiatives.
The promotion material
We set out to ensure that the visuals we would use felt rooted in the company’s brand but did not scream “work."
Courses to stream were voted on by the whole team and viewed in their entirety.
We’re off and running
Sessions are being promoted and streamed using Microsoft Teams.
XD team members will take turns hosting the event. Hosting responsibilities include welcoming the broader WT team to the event as well as sparking conversation.
